Rosslare Europort Cruise Connectivity
Rosslare Europort is the ideal tourist gateway and we offer unparalleled proximity and connections to get acquainted with Ireland's most popular tourist sites. Ireland's best golf courses and rugged countryside are only a short drive from the port. County Wexford hosts some world-famous landmarks such as the Hook Lighthouse, JFK Arboretum, Johnstown Castle and The Irish National heritage park, which are all only 30 minutes from the port.
Cruise Terminal Facilities
Rosslare Europort offers three berths which can accommodate cruise vessels alongside. We also cater for shunter services for cruise vessels docking outside the port.
On request we can provide the following:
- Security
- Fresh water
- Bus and train facilities
Passengers leaving the cruise vessel in Rosslare Europort can either:
- Board an excursion bus for which they have bought tickets from the cruise line
- Get on the free port shuttle, which will bring them safely to outside the port area. These passengers organise their own excursion by using public transport (Bus and train) or taxis
- Take a taxi outside the main terminal building
In accordance with the 'International Ship and Port Facility Security Code' (ISPS), strong security regulations apply on the locations where cruise ships are welcomed. For this reason visitors are not allowed entry to the terminal or the ship, unless there is a preliminary notification via the ship's agency.
